God Loves Me

For whatever reason, and I can only assume it’s because God loves me for keeping up half or so of his commandmants lately, my student loan company blessed me with a reassassment of my payment. Now, in the long run, this reassassment means that I have to pay a good $1.31 more each month; however, in the short run, it means that I get to skip my priorly scheduled January payment of $189.01. This reprieve could not have come at a more fortuitous time, as my extra-bonus-biannual student loan payment directly to Kenyon College of $310 is now due, which would have left me with about $4.12 to spare for the rest of the month, after food and bills.
