Random Details

For some reason, I couldn’t sleep last night. I went to bed at 11:30 and was still awake at 5 am. I think it might have been the new pillows. Or maybe the fact that I slept ten hours each the previous two nights. Someone told me once they thought I was probably too smart to sleep. Maybe that’s part of it, too. Though, I told them that if I were really that smart, I’d be doing my thinking during the day instead of tossing and turning all night.

My Morning Jacket moves me. Seriously. Their songs make me feel things, and I like it.

I was going to take my truck in tomorrow morning for an oil change and alignment and pick it up after work, but I remembered that I have to go to the client site tomorrow. It will have to wait one more day, anyway.

Dinner tonight was salad and whiskey.

There was lightning tonight. It was intense and beautiful. It felt like spring, like there was energy in the air.
