
I was commenting on how much I like the Local because it’s not the kind of bar where strangers talk to you, then spent much of last night talking to random people.
The dart board’s immortal wisdom has been removed in favor of clean, new cork board backing, leaving the wisdom to be passed down through the generations only in myth and legend.
After a few mediocre rounds with Ms. A______, I joined on as a fourth for some other people. I tossed first, and cleared bull on my first round. We ended up winning big, despite the fact that my partner was so drunk he could barely slur coherently. Good, god, they must have thought I was some sort of dart hustler, when it was really just a string of good luck.
