  1. Dude, even the new freaking macs suck. Since it’s just a core duo, the same hardware is available in any new pc. OS X? Don’t even begin to think it’s cool, cuz it’s not. It’s not any more stable, it’s not even more efficient than WinXP. In fact it’s the opposite. People have been using bootcamp to run XP because XP’s actually faster on the mac than OS X. At work we’ve got all the latest Macs for the users that need it for strange scientific programs. Half the binaries that come loaded with the machine aren’t even native to Intel core architecture, they’re still emulating half the programs from PowerPC binaries. Even Microsoft Office is still PowerPC native. So the end result is an OS that idles at 23% Cpu usage (yay spotlight /sarcasm), that runs software even slower because it has to emulate an older processor, that also costs $400 more than the equivalent competition. Oh and if you ever compare the build quality of the apple consumer models to the “pro” models, it’s like Dae-voodoo vs well… anything is better.

    Besides I got you something you might actually use rather than throw against a wall in a fit of ragey captalist consumerism dissatisfaction.

  3. For people so independent of mind, why is celebrity endorsment valid for apple? It must be good, James Woods liked it, and so did 15 minute of famer XXX.

    In anycase, I can salute apple for hiring J-Moore because she was Amber Waves the porn star with a motherly love for Marky-Mark.

    Somebody tell James Woods that Diggstown II is a great freaking idea.
