leadership-and-learning-quote-300x300.jpgEmpowering nonprofit leaders to grow and learn is a cornerstone of strong communities. The Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation is a proud partner of the 2019 Leadership Learning Lab. Nine executive directors and emerging leaders from Emmet and Charlevoix counties make up the new cohort currently participating in the eight-month professional development program. The program is now in its second year and is currently being offered at four other sites in northern Michigan.

Together the cohort explores how to become more adaptive leaders, focusing on learning, practicing and experimenting with new skills. The Leadership Learning Lab is designed to empower and connect nonprofit leaders as a way to strengthen their organizations and the communities they serve. The cohort is supported by a network of experienced coaches and leadership professionals from throughout northern Michigan.

The Leadership Learning Lab is organized by NorthSky Nonprofit Network and is funded by Frey FoundationCharlevoix County Community Foundtion and the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation.
