Fund for the Community

For thirty years, the Fund for the Community has provided flexible dollars to meet a variety of community needs. Measured over time, the Fund for the Community has provided building blocks of support that have strengthened our local economy, cared for our environment and our shared outdoor spaces, and increased our access to both healthy local food and life-affirming arts and cultural experiences. When we improve lives in Emmet County, our whole community grows stronger.

Lofts at Lumber Square Fund

Our community and our economy are impacted by the lack of attainable housing. This fund was established in support of the Lofts at Lumber Square, a 60-unit workforce housing development in the city of Petoskey. For every philanthropic dollar donated to this effort, three dollars from grants and low-interest loans will be unlocked to keep this housing attainable for community members.
